Sierra DigiTally Mobile	Basic Tally Operations
1. Measure & Tally	Sierra's Patent Pending RapidScan Ruler is used to Measure & Tally Lumber. Operator tallies by shooting a laser beam > Takes Width Measurement > Computes Board-feet > Adds to Piece-Count
2. Data Saved	Product and Tally data are stored on the device
3. Data Sent to Desktop	Captured data is sent to a Desktop PC (over cable or wireless), where reports can be printed.

Sierra DigiTally Mobile	Statistics & Vendor Info.
1. Statistics are computed automatically	Tally statistics, such as longest and shortest lengths, maximum and minimum widths, and average length/width are computed during tally operations.
2. Vendor Information	Vendor information includes Vendor ID, Vendor Order ID, Pack Number, Vendor's quantity. Vendor's quantity is compared to Ordered Quantity-- a warning is signaled.

A simple, fast, and efficient way to capture data
RapidScan Tally method enables the operator to quickly and accurately count and total lumber boards. Operator does not read a value and then enter it on the keypad-- this 2-step process opens the possibility for errors and slows the process down.
